Auxiliary
Ladies Auxiliary
The Ladies Auxiliary's main function is to SUPPORT the men and Council 571. They
do this primarily by providing help at events, cooking for events and providing
monetary help. They also generally do help with setting up and beautifying the
hall for events.
The Ladies Auxiliary of Council 571 main charity is the
Women's Abuse Center at our local YWCA. This is a safe haven for women and
their children in cases of domestic violence.
If you are interested in joining the Ladies Auxiliary of

Letter From the President
The hustle and bustle of the holidays is
over once again. We hope that your Christmas was a blessed time and that your
New Year will be happy and healthy.
Our newsletter went to press
before our Children’s Christmas Party, took place, so news of this event will be
in the February Newsletter. Lisa Puett, committee chairperson, has been working
hard in preparation. Many thanks to Jenna Mahoney for her generous donation to
help make this activity a success.
A regular business meeting will be held on
Monday, January 19, at 7:00 PM at the Council Hall. Please try to attend our
first meeting of the new year.
Dues for 2009 are now payable. It will be
necessary for each member to send dues directly to our Auxiliary treasurer.
